Embedding Footnote Images on Your Site

Found on Footnote.com

This image is the intro page of the Treaty of Moultrie Creek between the “Florida tribes of Indians” (Seminoles) and the U.S. Government signed September 18, 1823. The actual location where the treaty was signed is a few miles up the creek from our home. The actual location of this image is in the premium content area of Footnote.

Any Footnote member can embed images on their blog/web site in just a few simple steps. Detailed instructions can be found at the Footnote Blog.

This is just another way Footnote shows how it embraces its membership community. Yes, they have just announced a price increase for annual memberships, but when it includes the ability to share part of that premium content with others – either by embedding images as shown here or by making story pages available to non-members – I’m quite willing to pay the additional price to enjoy this valuable resource.
