Electronic Publishing Primer
I have just published Electronic Publishing – A Primer for the Family Historian at Scribd. This little book introduces the various electronic publishing platforms and discusses the skills involved in producing an e-pub. It also includes links to the many resources discussed. The book costs $3.00 and can be viewed online or downloaded as a PDF document.
While this is my first Scribd publication offered for sale, you’ll find several other tutorials and documents in my library.

Unfortunately, we, who don’t live in the USA, can’t purchase it while Scribd Store is in Beta.
That is something that is important to know if you are going to publish something electronically–who can purchase the book.

I’m sure there are some very good legal reasons why they can’t sell outside the U.S. – probably politicians trying to figure how to squeeze more money out of us – but it sure makes life difficult for the rest of us. I had seen the notice, but for some reason it just didn’t sink in.
