Microsoft’s OneNote (part of Office 2010) is an impressive research tool making it easy to grab text, links and screenshots as well as enter notes and organize everything. I just got an upgrade to Office 2011 for my Mac at work and while it doesn’t have the OneNote app, there’s a Word template that looks and acts a lot like OneNote. I’m going to have to work with it more than just a few minutes, but it looks like I’ve been reunited with an old friend – a very useful friend too.
