Library books come to the iPad

Thanks to the new Bluefire Reader [free], iOS users can now read Adobe Digital Editions books. This includes most of the books currently available for checkout using the OverDrive service at public libraries, Harlequin Books and more. To read these books you will need Adobe Digital Editions installed on your desktop and use iTunes to move the book from the desktop to the device. You’ll find detailed instructions for doing this at Dear Author.

The Bluefire Reader has all the features you’d expect from an e-reader with the added advantage of access to library books. Learn more at the BlueFire site.
