Both the Windows and Mac versions of Scrivener have been updated. You’ll find a few changes in the user interface – especially on the Mac version so it fits in with the look and feel of the new OS. They have also incorporated the latest version of MultiMarkdown (v. 4). Most of the updates are “under the hood”. The biggest of these is a new file structure which was necessary to insure compatibility with mobile applications.
This new file structure means that once you’ve updated the app, you’ll need to open each project to convert it to the new format. Scrivener creates a backup copy of each project just in case there are problems.
