WordPress App Reader Tips

IMG_0097The WordPress apps – especially the Reader component – continues to impress. I have it on my Mac, my iPad and my iPhone. I find I’m mostly using the phone app to read the WordPress blogs I follow and add comments. Since the phone’s always with me, the Reader is always within easy reach while I’m waiting for an appointment or riding in the car.

Once I set up my WordPress credentials in the app, it knows who I am and I don’t have to log in to post content, read or add comments. If you are managing multiple blogs, this is a lifesaver. I love the Comments section (shown here) because it’s so easy to keep up with conversations. The Notifications section is where I go first. From here I can tap on the “menu” buttons to quickly view unread posts, see what’s happening in comments and check to see who’s following my blogs and liking my posts. Tap on a follower and it will take me to their blog. One tap and I can add them to my reading list.
