Send an Evernote to Scrivener

Do you have notes in Evernote that you would like to add to a Scrivener writing project for easier access? If you are a Mac user, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see how easy it is to make this happen.

I discovered that if I have a project open in Scrivener, I can use Evernote’s print note command and click the arrow in the PDF option (in my Mac’s print options panel). That gives me a panel of service options  – including Save PDF to Scrivener. I select that option and that note is dumped right into the Research section of my open Scrivener project.

If you don’t see the Save PDF to Scrivener option, click on the Edit Menu… option at the bottom of the panel to add it to this menu.

Thanks Denise, I don’t think I would have noticed that option. I’ve tried it with a project open, and can tell the note is being downloaded, but I can’t find it. It’s not in the open Scrivener Project, Any ideas where it might be sent. It’s not not in my Download folder either.

    1. I had the Scrivener project open and the Research “folder” open. It comes in with no problem. It does title the note “untitled” with the note title in the body.

I’m using Scrivener v. 2.7 for Mac with OSX 10.11.4.
